lattice boltzmann method for multicomponent flows in complex geometry [in collaboration with Prof. Halim Kusumaatmaja, Department of Physics, University of Durham, UK]
In this research, we focus on the improvement of the Free Energy lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) for multicomponent flow with a high viscosity ratio. Our model is capable of reaching kinematic viscosity ratios of more than 10000. The key to the improvement of this method is to apply interpolation on the interface width between two fluids. The validity of this analysis is confirmed by comparing numerical and theoretical predictions of velocity and relative permeability for cocurrent flow through parallel plates. We showed that the simulated velocity profiles have a good agreement with the analytical solution with high viscosity ratios ranging from 0,0001 to 10000. Furthermore, we reached viscosity ratios of 0,0067 to 1500 for the relative permeability calculation of wetting and nonwetting fluids.

Aplikasi Remote Sensing untuk pemetaan potensi pertanian di wilayah Jawa Barat
Dalam projek ini kita mengembangkan portal digital bernama BENTALA AKSA. Portal ini dikembangkan untuk melihat potensi pertanian di daerah Jawa Barat. Teknologi yang digunakan adalah remote sensing menggunakan platform Google Earth Engine. Pemetaan disesuaikan dengan berbagai komuditas pangan dimana parameter kesesuaian lahannya merujuk pada aturan Permentan No. 79 tahun 2013 dan Juknis Evaluasi Lahan Pertanian tahun 2011.
